Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill, (30 November 1874 – 24 January 1965) was a British politician who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. A noted statesman, orator and strategist, Churchill was also a soldier in the British Army. He has been studied to a unique extent as part of modern British and world history. Muito interessante essa frase. Aliás, além de um grande estadista, ele foi um frasista. Há uma outra muito famosa que lhe é atribuída: “Democracy is the worst form of government, with the exception of all others.”
O John Lennon tinha como nome do meio Winston. Dizem que teria sido uma homenagem do pai de Lennon a Churchill. Amplexo.
